About Us

Catrin Glynn, MA, LPC-S is the founder of The Purion Clinic. Catrin has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1999. Catrin has held several senior management positions in the field of mental health including foster care, adoption, supported living for the developmentally disabled and mentally ill and psychiatric hospitals. Catrin has served as Adjunct Faculty at local colleges, teaching psychology courses. Catrin enjoys motivational speaking and has delivered several seminars, "lunch and learns", etc. for local bussinesses and women's groups. She is also certified as a Personal Trainer through the National Acdemy of Sports Medicine and is a certified spin instructor. Catrin enjoys supervising LPC interns, focusing on challenging new therapists, encouraging them to become critical thinkers and to develop their own unique style. Catrin is a teacher and a motivator at heart.
